Ornately Styled Garnet Colored Rhinestone Necklace with Faux Pearls. This vintage necklace is created with an antiqued gold tone metal setting. It’s designed using many small panels, all linked together. Each panel is adorned with dark garnet colored red rhinestones and small faux pearls. It closes with a sturdy fold over clasp. Offered in fair vintage condition. All of the rhinestones are present and bright. There are no missing faux pearls, but one is a replacement. The finish on the back does show wear consistent with age and prior use. Measures 5/8 wide and has a total length of 15 with the clasp closed.
CORO
Cohen & Rosenberger, Inc. was founded in 1901 in New York, NY; name was later changed to Coro, Inc. until 1979.
The CoroCraft mark was originally its most expensive line.
In 1901 Carl Rosenberger and Emanuel Cohn created Coro Inc. in New York City. They initially operated under the name Cohn & Rosenberger until 1943 when they changed the name to Coro, Inc. (CO for Cohn, RO for Rosenberger).
The Pegasus mark was used after WWII.
This is a classic piece of jewelry history.
It is crafted from a silver tone metal in a romantic motif.
The brooch consists of elegant vines and leaves with rhinestone embellish flowers.
It is quite old with some slight yellowing of some of the stones and some darkening of the metal.
All of this is certainly consistent with age.
It is signed Coro.

RARE HIGH END LUSH VINTAGE COUTURE PURPLE ART GLASS BLUE RHINESTONE BROOCHAN EXTRAORDINARY PIECE OF VINTAGE COSTUME JEWELRY
Age: Circa 1950-1960Maker: UnknownMeasurements: 3″ x 2″ Material: Japanned Metal, Art Glass, RhinestoneCondition: ExcellentWeight: 39.0 Grams Fresh from a fine Pacific Northwest estate comes a GLORIOUS vintage rhinestone brooch circa 1950-1960. This is such an impressive piece of rhinestone jewelry. The brooch is unsigned, but comparable in quality to the finest pieces by Schriener, Max Muller, and Christian Dior. I’m fairly certain the piece is European in origin (most likely German or Austrian). It features beautiful purple givre art glass stones, dazzling purple rhinestones, and bi-color purple and blue rhinestones. The piece measures approx 3″ x 2″. The condition is excellent with no damage and the only thing to note being a little looseness to the locking closure.
Very pretty Florenza necklace in japanned metal with stations of molded glass stones set with AB amber rhinestones, and amber rhinestones below. Missing one AB amber stone in the third station from the left, and I believe the AB stone in the furthest left station is a replacement, as it’s too large. Otherwise, in very good condition. I am also including five extra molded glass stones, that match those in the necklace. Signed FLORENZA on the back. Necklace length is 10″, and 16″ fully extended, so it’s choker length. Stations are 1″ high.
